Clinical trials offer hope and the promise of innovative new treatments. But, without people who volunteer to participate in clinical trials, this would not be possible. I’m In is a campaign, launched by PhRMA and the National Minority Quality Forum, to improve health by increasing clinical trial participation among traditionally underrepresented populations. By increasing diversity in clinical trials, we can help ensure that the process used to test the effectiveness of new potential medicines accurately takes into account the patient populations that will eventually use them and helps to increase scientific knowledge that may result in medical innovations.
