Business Council Report Says State Has the Tools to Grow the Biopharm Industry

The NYS Business Council was joined by state elected officials and executives from locally-based life sciences companies in Buffalo yesterday to explain how growing the biopharmaceutical sector will have a big impact on New York’s economy.

The event was held at the Center for Excellence in Bioinformatics and Life Sciences at the University of Buffalo, which is an extroardinary research and development facility. The infrastructure and intellect are already there. Now, the Business Council urged, state investment and support is needed to grow the sector and create high-paying jobs.
